Kolby McIntyre DVM

Dr McIntyre grew up in a small town in western Pennsylvania where he worked on engines in his Dad’s machine shop and spent a lot of time with draft horses, both in the field and in the show ring. Kolby has a degree in animal science from Penn State, where he conducted research in dairy nutrition that studied the effect of forage length and TMR particle size on subacute rumenal acidosis and feed sorting. Kolby went to vet school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he followed the curriculum for food animal production medicine. His professional interests include fresh cows, production medicine, and statistical analysis of records. In his free time Kolby still enjoys showing draft horses and doing mechanical work. In recent years he has restored a 1948 John Deere model G and a 1950 Ford F1 pickup that each belonged to his grandfathers. He is very excited to be joining our team and is looking forward to working with producers to improve animal health and profitability.
